Remote or keypad not working?
If the wall button opens the garage door but the remote or keypad doesn't, the cause is almost always the battery, the lock button or the opener's memory. Put in a new battery first, then make sure the wall control isn't locked.

Remote and keypad questions
How do I pair a garage door remote again?
Most openers have a learn button on the motor unit. Press it, then press the button on the remote right away. The opener light blinks or the motor clicks when it takes the code. The steps vary by brand, so check the label on the motor.
Why does the remote only work up close?
Short range usually means a low battery. LED bulbs in the opener's light sockets can also interfere with the signal, so try a new battery, then try the remote with those bulbs taken out.
